The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating field and special event personnel schedules, processing hours worked, and providing timely and accurate reports to payroll. This role also supports administrative functions for the operation.
Key duties include:
- Overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the Operations division
- Creating and modifying shifts and assignments as needed
- Communicating schedule changes, shift approvals, and PTO requests to employees
- Reconciling scheduling data in the timekeeping system
- Reviewing and verifying employee hours for accuracy
- Maintaining attendance records and supporting payroll functions
- Preparing periodic reports such as payroll stats, personnel stats, absence reports, and overtime tracking
- Scheduling public relations demonstrations, standbys, and special event staffing
- Performing clerical and administrative tasks such as filing, typing, ordering supplies, and answering phones
- Processing accounts payable bills and credit card purchases
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable agreements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Working knowledge and experience in scheduling or staffing
- Experience performing administrative and clerical duties
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
