e4health is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Consultant to review patient medical records and ensure documentation accurately reflects the severity and complexity of illness. The role works closely with providers and coders to improve documentation integrity, support quality outcomes, and strengthen clinical and financial performance across healthcare organizations.
The position supports hospitals and health systems nationwide and may require travel to field sites up to 15% of the time.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical documentation experience
- Current RN license
- Ability to use a PC for medical record review and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills with management and clients
- Maryland APR-DRG experience preferred
- CCDS or CDIP certification preferred
- BSN preferred in addition to RN license
