Trauma Registrar

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Trauma Registrar.

The incumbent assumes primary responsibility for accurate and concurrent data abstraction, evaluation, injury coding, and analysis of trauma medical records into the Trauma Registry and Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) database. The role also supports generation of reports from the Trauma Registry for injury research, epidemiology, peer review, and performance improvement activities within the Cabell Huntington Hospital Trauma Center. Provides assistance to the Director of Trauma Services and the Trauma Medical Director.
