Patient Support Specialists work across multiple offices within their region, providing both administrative and clinical support in optometry practices. This traveling role supports technicians, opticians, and patient services representatives and offers the opportunity to learn all three practice areas.
The position is based in the Fort Wayne, Indiana region and involves helping patients through the full visit experience, from preliminary testing and front-desk support to checkout and follow-up scheduling.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical office and/or direct patient care preferred
- Previous experience in an optometry environment preferred
