Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have:

High school diploma or GED
At least 12 months of experience using computers, maintaining patient records, and/or working in reception
Ability to assume a leadership role in the absence of immediate supervision
In-depth working knowledge of Hospital and Radiology Information Systems
Knowledge of third-party healthcare coverage and billing requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, consumers, and other healthcare professionals
