Northwestern OB-GYN Consultants (NOGC) is a well-established private OB-GYN practice dedicated to providing exceptional women's healthcare. This full-time remote role is for an experienced, detail-oriented Medical Biller/Coder who can support accurate coding, timely reimbursement, and efficient revenue cycle management while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
The position involves working with OB-GYN billing and coding workflows, resolving claim issues, posting payments, and collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure documentation and coding are accurate.
Required Qualifications
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or equivalent coding certification required
- Certification coursework must be completed and the certification exam successfully passed before applying
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience
- Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Epic EMR/billing systems
- Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous OB/GYN billing and coding experience
- Knowledge of OB global billing and women's health reimbursement guidelines
