Requirements & Qualifications
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS-P, or equivalent coding credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent credentialed Professional Fee (ProFee) coding experience
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiothoracic/Vascular Cardiology Clinic or Cardiology Clinic coding experience
- Minimum 2 years of Epic experience
- Minimum 2 years of 3M Encoder/CAC experience
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II, medical terminology, and payer-specific coding guidelines
- Working knowledge of third-party payers and reimbursement methodologies
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
