The position also includes medical billing and coding responsibilities, posting accounts and balances, maintaining aging accounts receivable status, submitting electronic and paper claims, updating patient registration and demographic information, and posting checks.
- Experience as a biller and coder
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and DX coding
- Strong ICD-10 knowledge
- Experience with workers' compensation and occupational medicine is a plus
- 1 year of ICD-10 experience preferred
