Coder III supports revenue cycle goals by coding high-acuity inpatient accounts and/or technical outpatient accounts, including Observation, Radiation Oncology, Chemotherapy Infusion, Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Surgery. The role uses ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, CPT, and other coding references to ensure accurate and timely billing.
3-5 years of coding experience required.
High School diploma or GED required.
One or more of the following credentials required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, CCVTC, or a core/specialty credential from AAPC or AHIMA.
