Analyze medical record documentation to support accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding, charge entry, billing, and rebilling for patient services.
The position supports Covenant Medical Group, a large employed medical practice organization serving East Tennessee across primary care, walk-in, preventive medicine, and specialty services.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must have the ability to demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and ability needed for the role, typically equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
- Professional coding experience preferred
- 3 years of extensive diagnosis and procedural coding experience required
- Must maintain CPC certification through AAPC or RHIT registration through AHIMA
