Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical coding and billing within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of DRG classifications, CPT coding procedures, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for coding and billing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex medical information accurately
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
- Knowledge of medical collection processes and insurance claim submission protocols
