This role supports outpatient healthcare services for active-duty service members, veterans, retirees, and their families in a structured weekday schedule.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- AHIMA or AAPC certification required and must be maintained
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Successful completion of a Medical Coding Course
- U.S. citizenship required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Ability to work in an on-site office environment; this is not a remote position
