Responsibilities include reviewing medical record documentation and coding to optimize reimbursement and interpreting medical information such as diseases, symptoms, diagnostic descriptions, and procedures.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to read and interpret medical procedures and terminology
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
- Two years of experience in medical record coding preferred
- Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training may be considered
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications
