We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses, manage billing processes, and ensure timely submission of insurance claims. The position supports revenue cycle management, improves cash flow, and helps ensure compliance with medical coding guidelines while working with EMR/EHR systems.

- Proven experience in medical office settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and billing procedures.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and billing software; experience with electronic health record management for billing and coding is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT coding systems, as well as DRG classifications used for inpatient services.
- Familiarity with health insurance claim processing, third-party billing practices, and revenue cycle management strategies.
- Strong understanding of medical coding guidelines for inpatient and outpatient services.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex medical documentation accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
