Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) provides integrated home-based healthcare services, including durable medical equipment (DME), respiratory care, home health, and home infusion. The organization serves patients across the United States and Puerto Rico through a network of Medicare and Medicaid certified and accredited providers.
This role is responsible for reviewing patient account open balances, assigning and reviewing ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes on outpatient medical records, and resubmitting claims for incorrect denials.
• High school diploma or GED • 2–3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within home care services preferred • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to use computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR systems • Ability to self-motivate and work independently • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively • Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired
