NKC Health is seeking a Certified Coder to join the coding team. This role focuses solely on coding processes, including reviewing medical records for accurate ICD/CPT coding, posting charges, and communicating with the practice team.
The position is part of the Coding & Denials team at North Kansas City Hospital and offers a day-shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current AAPC certification
- At least 1 year of experience in physician coding and billing
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Proficient computer skills
