Coastal Neurology, a small and growing medical practice in Port Royal, SC, is seeking a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join the team. The role focuses on processing and submitting claims, maintaining accurate patient and billing information, resolving discrepancies, and supporting billing operations for the Port Royal and Okatie offices.
This is an in-person position, and interviews will be conducted at the Port Royal office.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Direct experience in medical billing in a private practice setting
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and insurance policies
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Allscripts Medical Software experience is a plus
- ICD-10 experience: 2 years required
