Join Bertrand Chaffee Hospital's physician coding team as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC-A or CPC). This is a 100% on-site role in Springville, New York focused on outpatient coding for physician services.
In this position, you will review medical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes to support timely, compliant coding workflows. You will work closely with providers and coding staff to maintain coding accuracy and quality.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC-A or CPC)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous coding experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to review and interpret medical records, physician notes, and lab results
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding standards
