Autumn Leaves Psychiatry is seeking an experienced medical billing specialist to manage full-cycle billing operations for a psychiatric clinic in Idaho Falls.
The role includes claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, prior authorizations, and multi-level appeals. This position supports specialty behavioral health services, including TMS and Spravato/esketamine, and requires close attention to specialty payer rules, REMS-related requirements, and coordination-of-benefits issues.
The selected candidate will work directly with payers, maintain billing accuracy, support compliance, and answer patient billing questions.
- 2+ years of medical billing experience
- Behavioral health or specialty practice experience preferred
- Experience with prior authorizations and multi-level appeals
- Strong written communication skills for appeal letters and payer correspondence
- Detail-oriented and self-directed
- Ability to manage a billing process end-to-end
- CPB certification or similar preferred but not required
- Small clinic environment
