We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder / Billing Specialist to join a busy healthcare team in Salem, Oregon. This temporary, full-time role supports accurate medical coding, regulatory compliance, and revenue cycle operations. An immediate opening is available with a quick start expected.

Requirements & Qualifications
Current CPC certification through AAPC or an AHIMA coding credential such as CCS or CCS-P is required.
- Active certification in good standing
- 1-3 years of medical coding and/or medical billing experience preferred
- Prior data entry experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret coding guidelines and maintain compliance with payer and regulatory standards
