This role involves medical coding, collections, billing, and insurance authorization work in a clinic setting. Experience with workers' compensation and personal injury billing is especially important.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must have the following experience and qualifications:
- 3 to 9 years of medical billing and coding experience
- Strong knowledge of collections and billing
- Experience with workers' compensation and personal injury billing
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with coding terminology
- Experience handling insurance authorizations
- Certification is a plus
- Bilingual ability in Chinese, Spanish, and English is a plus
