Supports Alluma’s behavioral health revenue cycle operations.
Responsible for claim processing, denial management, cash application, eligibility verification support, authorization support, and appeals of denied claims. This role also involves client invoicing, resolving billing complaints, answering payer and client inquiries, and assisting with special projects to improve workflows and efficiency.
Key duties include preparing and submitting claims, posting payments in the EHR, reviewing insurance payments for accuracy, investigating payment discrepancies, generating reports and client statements, coordinating with access and credentialing teams, and maintaining routine EHR functions.
Associate degree in accounting, finance, medical coding, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of healthcare billing experience preferred.
Must pass a criminal background check through MN DHS NetStudy.
Requires access to a personal vehicle, willingness to use it for job duties, a valid driver's license, and insurability under the agency's automobile insurance policy.
Must be free from substance use problems for at least 2 years.
