The role focuses on accurate medical coding, medical records documentation, and coordination between clinical and administrative teams. The position supports revenue cycle operations and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Proven experience in medical coding with proficiency in DRG, CPT, and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding.
Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, medical records management, and healthcare reimbursement procedures.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for data entry and record keeping; ECW is a plus.
Excellent understanding of medical terminology, clinical documentation practices, and healthcare regulations.
Prior work experience in a medical office environment is highly desirable.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate code assignment.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing guidelines and maintain compliance standards.
