LifeDOC Health is a clinic focused on accessible, patient-centered care, education, and research. This role supports revenue cycle operations while also overseeing sales, retention, education, and communication for the Vida Plus program.
The Bilingual Revenue Cycle and Membership Specialist helps maximize revenue by handling claims, patient collections, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up. The position also supports membership operations, financial reporting, data entry, and reconciliation work.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred
- At least 3 years of medical billing, collections, or revenue cycle experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, HMO/PPO plans, and managed care reimbursement
- Experience with medical claims processing, payment posting, insurance follow-up, and patient collections
- Understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding concepts
- Familiarity with EOBs and ERAs
- Experience using EMR and practice management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team
- Current active driver's license and ability to travel to different locations when needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
