We’re hiring a Revenue Cycle & Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 90-day temporary role with the potential to become permanent.
This role focuses on aged insurance accounts receivable for a behavioral health practice serving autistic and neurodivergent children, teens, and adults across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The specialist will work unpaid claims, denials, rejections, corrected claims, appeals, payer follow-up, authorization issues, EOBs/ERAs, timely filing, and insurance phone calls as needed.
The ideal candidate is independent, organized, persistent, and able to investigate why claims are not being paid rather than repeatedly applying the same fix. The role requires strong follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize patterns and communicate when something does not look right.
Hours may vary based on workload and availability. If the temporary role works well for both sides, it may convert to a permanent position.
