We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Medical Billing Clerk to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will manage the billing process, ensure accurate coding, facilitate communication between healthcare providers and insurance companies, and help optimize revenue cycle performance.
You will also support patient record accuracy and contribute to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the practice.
• Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or related administrative roles within a healthcare setting • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for managing medical records and billing data • Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures • Experience with medical collection processes and follow-up on outstanding claims • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to communicate clearly with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
