Revenue Cycle and Accounts Receivable Specialist

Work closely with the Director of Business Operations to manage the practice’s end-to-end revenue cycle, accounts receivable, No Surprises Act (NSA) compliance coordination, and provider credentialing. Use modern AI tools to streamline claims appeals, track payments and ERAs, and draft precise cosmetic fee contracts while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor when discussing financial matters with patients. Billing experience in an institutional or employed physician group is a plus.

Responsibilities include monitoring open insurance claims, resolving denials, negotiating with third-party payors, tracking Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) and insurance payments, posting payments accurately, submitting clean electronic claims through the EMR system, maintaining the claims database, coordinating NSA dispute documentation, drafting cosmetic surgery fee contracts, discussing self-pay estimates and payment plans with patients, assisting with financial reporting, and maintaining provider credentialing documentation and insurance panel applications.

Requirements & Qualifications

Direct experience or a strong foundational understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding and third-party healthcare reimbursement standards.

Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, ideally with coursework or experience in healthcare administration, business, or finance.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar and professionalism.

Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, patient-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.

Must pass background and criminal records checks and have professional references verified.

Ability to commute to Greenwich, CT 06831.
