We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage and collect outstanding balances from insurance companies for behavioral health services. This role works closely with insurance companies and patients to ensure accounts are collected in a timely manner, and payer denials or rejections are addressed through exhaustion or payment of services.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in collections or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with medical billing processes is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate financial analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts efficiently
- Understanding of insurance billing and coding requirements
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding when applicable
- Customer service and negotiation skills for payment plans or settlements
