Revenue Cycle Coordinator

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator supports the agency's financial health by coordinating and optimizing all aspects of the billing and collections process. This position serves as a technical expert and key resource for the billing team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant claim submission and payment processing.

The coordinator partners with clinical, administrative, and finance staff to improve workflows, resolve payer issues, and strengthen overall revenue performance.

This is a developmental role designed for a highly skilled billing professional with leadership potential. The position includes functional leadership responsibilities such as training, process coordination, and quality oversight, and may evolve into a Revenue Cycle Manager role based on readiness and organizational growth.

Work schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Work location: In person; not a remote position

Requirements & Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of billing experience in a behavioral health or medical setting
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance rules and processes
  • Demonstrated experience in training, workflow development, or quality assurance within billing functions
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Ability to provide vaccination records for MMR, Hep B, Tdap, and recent flu shot

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Qualifacts CareLogic or a comparable EHR system
