We’re an established, patient-centered, privately owned general dental practice looking for a Dental Financial Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the point person for helping patients understand treatment costs, insurance benefits, and payment options while keeping accounts accurate and collections healthy.
The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and service-oriented, with a strong focus on clear communication, teamwork, and making the financial side of care easy for patients.
The position is in person.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years in dental front office or financial coordination preferred
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, EOBs, write-offs, deductibles, and estimates
- Comfortable discussing money with patients respectfully and confidently
- Accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
- Strong scheduling, phone skills, and professional written communication
- Experience with Open Dental is a plus
- Reliable, kind, and team-oriented
- Experience improving A/R systems and reducing aging of insurance and patient balances is a plus
- Knowledge of membership plans and tracking plan discounts correctly is a plus
- Experience with financing platforms like CareCredit and Cherry is a plus
- KPI mindset preferred
