We are seeking an experienced medical billing and revenue cycle specialist to support a growing preventive, primary, and longevity care practice in Austin, Texas. The practice is transitioning from a cash-pay model to a hybrid model that includes insurance-based primary care and same-day/express care services.
This role is responsible for helping build and manage the billing function for the practice, with opportunities to improve workflows, increase reimbursement, and contribute to the long-term growth of the organization.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient medical billing, preferably in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or internal medicine.
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding.
Experience with commercial insurance plans, claim submission, appeals, and denial management.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and medical billing software.
Thorough understanding of revenue cycle management and insurance reimbursement processes.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with providers and staff.
CPC, CPB, or similar coding/billing certification is preferred but not required.
