You will work closely with providers and insurance partners to manage the end-to-end billing workflow, support audits and appeals, and help improve key revenue cycle metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of podiatry coding and billing experience
- Strong knowledge of podiatry-related medical terminology
- Experience with ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Familiarity with DRG concepts, medical records management, and healthcare reimbursement
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with providers, insurers, and patients
- Proficiency with medical office software, EHRs, and billing systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, fraud prevention, and audit readiness
- Certification in medical billing or coding preferred but not required
