Billing Supervisor

Leadership and team management

• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing billing or revenue cycle staff
• Ability to conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training initiatives
• Strong accountability, collaboration, and team development skills

Revenue cycle knowledge

• Extensive experience with payment posting, denial management, appeals, claims resolution, accounts receivable, and collections
• Understanding of insurance overpayments, recoupments, refunds, and credentialing support
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare billing compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management experience
• Experience managing a large team
• Strong organizational, multitasking, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: knowledge of dermatology CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Preferred: experience with AdvancedMD and EMA software
• Preferred: bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field
