Northwestern OB-GYN Consultants (NOGC), a well-established private OB-GYN practice in Chicago, is seeking an experienced Medical Biller/Coder to support accurate coding, timely reimbursement, and efficient revenue cycle operations.
This is an in-person, full-time position focused on OB-GYN billing and coding, claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or equivalent certification required
- Completion of coding certification coursework and passing of the certification exam before applying
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Epic EMR/billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Preferred: OB/GYN billing and coding experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of OB global billing and women's health reimbursement guidelines
