Inpatient coder role responsible for assigning codes to accounts using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding skills. The position focuses on ensuring the accuracy of assigned codes by following industry standards and recognized coding guidelines. Shift is day shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. FTE 1. Regular employment type.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA).
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be considered.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of personal computers.
