Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking an experienced DRG Validator to join a growing team. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coding professional with extensive experience in DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding.

Requirements & Qualifications
Must have an active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification.
- CCS certification required
- CDIP and/or CCDS preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher
- Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements
- Ability to identify coding opportunities, validate DRG assignment, and provide clear audit findings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Must reside in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent required
