Responsible for the care and maintenance of patient health records to ensure records are complete, accurate, and available only to authorized individuals.
Assists caregivers and providers with service needs and handles information across multiple media types, including printing, scanning, copying, faxing, sorting, collating, and filing.
Additional responsibilities include record analysis, document imaging and scanning, record maintenance, release of records, record retention, medical record transcription, processing birth certificates, data integrity support, EMPI tasks, chart corrections, and MyChart support.
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- 1+ years of health information system experience
- Associate degree in a related field
- RHIA or RHIT certification from AHIMA
