Under the direction of ministry HIM management, the Document Imaging Technician is responsible for receiving and processing medical record pick-ups, prepping, scanning, indexing, and filing.
The technician prepares documents appropriately and indexes documentation in the correct patient record, visit, and record location. The role also includes verifying each image to ensure readability, quality, and completeness.

Required
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Preferred
- 3 years of HIM/medical records-related experience
- 1 year of HIM/medical record department or similar office work experience
- 1 year of experience with imaging equipment
- 1 year of electronic medical record experience
