DBQ Reviewer I

The DBQ Reviewer I position is a remote, full-time role focused on reviewing complex medical examination reports for completeness and adherence to VA guidelines in collaboration with medical professionals. The role includes identifying and escalating quality issues, working closely with healthcare providers to provide feedback and assist in revising reports, managing complex case reviews, and maintaining productivity and quality standards. The position requires mandatory remote training via Zoom for six weeks with strict attendance and professional presentation standards.

Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of medical field experience (such as Scribe, Military Corpsman/Medic, Certified Medical Assistant, biller/coder), or relevant professional experience as a Quality Analyst in healthcare, or at least 6 months of experience conducting QA reviews of DBQs according to VA and MDE requirements. Skills required include deep knowledge of medical terminology and conditions, quality assurance methodologies, strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
