Physician Management Resources, a Boston based healthcare consulting company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our outstanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting clients in their day-to-billing operations including reviewing, coding, and processing medical claims and providing a high-level approach to creating workflow processes, analyzing and sharing revenue cycle management (RCM) results.
This is a hybrid position requiring the ability to work from the office 1-2 days per week as needed.
The successful candidate will have end to end knowledge of the revenue cycle: charge capture, coding, billing, follow up, denials, and payment posting including a strong understanding of payer rules, contracts, and reimbursement methodologies.
Strong investigative skills are necessary to research unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims and to discern systemic issues impacting cash flow and accounts receivable performance.
Advanced skills to run, interpret, and analyze accounts receivable and aging reports are expected.
Candidates should be proven problem solvers with polished, professional communication skills to foster confidence internally and externally as subject matter experts.
Experience with multiple practice management systems and the confidence to learn new ones is required.
The candidate must be able to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously while providing individualized attention.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing
