Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management

The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management at Purpose Home Health Parent leads and optimizes the entire revenue cycle process to ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability. Responsibilities include overseeing patient registration, billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, and collections. This role develops and implements strategies to improve cash flow, reduce denial rates, decrease days in accounts receivable, and enhances billing, coding, collections, and compliance processes.

The VP collaborates with clinical, compliance, and IT teams to maintain coding compliance and adapt to regulatory changes. They lead and train revenue cycle staff, analyze financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, and serve as a liaison with payers, auditors, and consultants to resolve complex reimbursement issues.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, preferably in home health or post-acute care.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, billing regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Analytical skills with experience using revenue cycle management software and financial reporting tools.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Certification such as Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and home health revenue cycle platforms.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies relevant to home health.
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and process improvements.
