MedVanta is the nation's largest physician-owned and operated next generation management services organization (MSO), specializing in musculoskeletal (MSK) providers. This role functions as a floating Revenue Cycle leader providing interim management coverage, operational support, special project leadership, and hands-on claims assistance across various revenue cycle teams.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for divisions on front-end revenue cycle matters, supporting operations during reimbursement issue resolutions, collaborating with coding and compliance teams, managing the Accounts Receivable function and team, streamlining billing and collection processes, investigating insurance fraud, ensuring timely claims payment, providing leadership coverage during absences or increased needs, leading process improvement initiatives, and performing hands-on revenue cycle tasks as needed.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred, with 5+ years of manager-level experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is preferred. Extensive knowledge in insurance, benefits, medical terminology, medical billing, and multiple coding systems (including Level 1 and 2 HCPCS) is required. Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems are essential.
Physical demands include the ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform desk-related duties involving bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, and clear communication abilities.
