Head of Revenue Cycle Management

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Head of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to oversee the financial health of a growing multi-specialty healthcare organization specializing in Podiatry, Vascular Surgery, and Interventional Radiology.

You will design and improve end-to-end RCM workflows, monitor key performance indicators such as First Pass Rate, Net Collection Rate, Denial Rate, Days in A/R, Clean Claim Rate, and Prior Authorization approval rates. Responsibilities include managing third-party billing vendors, building and leading internal billing and coding teams, and reporting revenue cycle performance to executive leadership.

You will oversee complex interventional coding, optimize claims processing across specialties, lead payer contract negotiations, manage prior authorizations and eligibility verification, and collaborate with clinical and EMR teams to improve documentation and charge capture. Compliance with HIPAA, CMS, OIG, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer policies is essential, along with conducting internal audits and monitoring legislative changes.

Additionally, you will evaluate and implement RCM technologies including PM systems, EHR integrations, clearinghouses, and AI-enabled claim adjudication tools. You'll develop dashboards for real-time revenue cycle monitoring and leverage data analytics to identify denial and underpayment trends, driving automation to improve billing efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 7+ years leadership experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Direct experience with Office-Based Lab (OBL) or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) billing preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Podiatry, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology coding and medical necessity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or MHA is a plus.
  • Certifications preferred: CPC, COC, or CHFP.
Benefits & Perks

Compensation range: $165,000 – $175,000 base salary, with potential to exceed for highly qualified candidates.
