Shenandoah Oncology is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee all business and front office operations, including billing, reimbursement, collections, and computer systems.
The manager will ensure accurate and timely charge capture, claim submission, and reporting to maximize reimbursement and reduce accounts receivable. This role involves supervising accounts receivable staff, front office supervisor, producing accurate monthly reports, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, financial performance, and patient experience.
Responsibilities include leading a full-cycle revenue team (billers, insurance specialists, payment posters, eligibility specialists, coders), managing revenue cycle projects, optimizing revenue cycle performance through technology and process redesign, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with operating procedures and legal guidelines, overseeing training and onboarding, and collaborating with physicians and departments to improve outcomes and compliance.
Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is preferred. The candidate must have 8-10 years of multi-specialty medical revenue cycle management experience with a solid record of achieving metrics, plus 4 years of supervisory experience.
Work is on-site in an office environment in Winchester, Virginia. Physical demands include prolonged standing/sitting, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
