As a Senior AR Specialist on our client onboarding team, you will deploy to new client go-lives, stabilize engagements, and build operational playbooks for the permanent team. You will rotate across clients, specialties, and payer environments, working claims in new client systems and documenting workflows and payer specifics.
Responsibilities include working claims end-to-end in client PMS and Amperos workqueue, participating in onboarding calls, bridging production gaps, working across multiple practice management systems and payer portals, identifying and escalating SOP gaps, executing claim follow-up, denial resolution, appeals, and payer calls, documenting workflows and exceptions, pressure-testing AI agents, and conducting QA reviews.
You will collaborate closely with engineering by providing detailed, actionable feedback to improve our platform.
5+ years of experience in insurance eligibility, verification, medical billing, AR follow-up, and denial management.
Direct experience working within a hospital system or physician practice.
Strong knowledge of payer portals, clearinghouse workflows, and multiple practice management systems.
Expertise in denial resolution for authorization, medical necessity, timely filing, COB, and coding issues.
Experience with appeals processes including writing appeal letters and compiling supporting documentation.
