Join the team at NeurAbilities as a Revenue Cycle Management Specialist working on a hybrid schedule with two days per week in the Voorhees office.
Responsibilities include entering charges, payment posting, managing patient accounts, resolving outstanding accounts receivable, investigating payment discrepancies with payers, timely claims submission (electronic and paper), and follow-up on accounts within the centralized billing and reimbursement group.
You will also handle payer denials, appeals, insurance billing including secondary/tertiary insurance, patient inquiries, preparing accounts for collection agency referral, daily deposit preparation, document scanning and filing, and maintain confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines.

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of medical office experience
- At least 3 years medical billing experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as Medical Billing Specialist or Professional Coder preferred
- Experience with EMR/Practice Management software, especially Central Reach or AdvancedMD
- Knowledge of medical billing/coding, especially Applied Behavior Analysis services
- Understanding of insurance guidelines including Medicaid and commercial plans
- Experience with out of network billing and insurance appeals
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Ability to work well in teams, manage priorities, delegate tasks, and handle conflict
