We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and optimize healthcare revenue cycle processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of billing, collections, accounts receivable, and reimbursement activities. Your leadership will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of revenue operations, driving financial health and operational excellence across the organization. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient billing, insurance claims processing, collections, and accounts receivable management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline revenue cycle workflows, improve cash flow, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and billing practices that comply with industry regulations.
- Work side-by-side with technical experts to turn root cause findings into technology and automation changes to drive revenue cycle improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue cycle activities; analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of billing specialists, collections agents, and revenue cycle staff to foster a high-performance environment focused on accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors or external partners involved in billing or collections processes to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing revenue cycle operations within a healthcare or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), insurance claims processing, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive process improvements.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in revenue cycle management software and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and external partners.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA is highly desirable.
