Revenue Cycle Management Specialist

The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist optimizes the practice's financial performance by managing the full lifecycle of patient accounts, ensuring accurate billing, coding compliance, and timely claims resolution. This role serves as a critical link between clinical documentation and reimbursement while providing operational support to clerical teams at all office locations.

Key responsibilities include claims processing, denial management, payment posting, revenue monitoring, Medicaid coordination, collections management, patient advocacy, refunds and adjustments, financial reporting, coding compliance, insurance verification, clinical liaison duties, data maintenance, staff support, training of new employees, and conducting internal audits.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred, minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding preferred, with professional certification (e.g., CPC or CCS) highly desirable. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare billing software, knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA), strong data analysis skills, and attention to detail are required.

Position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, averaging 40 hours per week, with minimal occasional travel between office locations.
