Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of DRG classifications, CPT coding procedures, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards, and medical terminology. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation requirements for accurate billing. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and other healthcare software platforms. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex medical data accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff, insurance providers, and patients. Prior experience in medical collections or accounts receivable management is preferred.
