Join Colorado Endodontic Specialists as a Dental Financial Insurance Coordinator. In this role, you will verify patient insurance eligibility, manage claims and pre-authorizations, and communicate with patients about their insurance benefits, supporting accurate billing and a positive financial experience.
Work Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
- Submitting insurance claims and pre-authorizations timely and accurately
- Following up on outstanding claims and resolving denials or discrepancies
- Educating patients on insurance coverage details and financial responsibilities
- Coordinating with billing team to ensure proper coding and documentation
- Maintaining patient insurance records in practice management system
- Responding to patient and insurance inquiries
- Collaborating with front office and clinical teams
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulations
- Assisting with billing and front desk duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience with dental insurance
- Familiarity with insurance terminology, claims, EOBs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management software
- Knowledge of dental codes and insurance plans
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations

Salary for this role ranges from $21 to $26 per hour.
